Day 1 - 07/10/05 - Venezia
Departure from Riccione in tour bus;
Arrival in Venezia and guided tour;
Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Venezia Mestre
Activities
Meeting with the tour operator in Rimini and departure in tour bus for Venezia, the magical city of the Dogi and the Serenissima.
Meeting with the tour guide and start of the tour of this spectacular lagoon city, acclaimed by the numerous artists that over the centuries have paid Venezia visit and defined by Napoleon Bonaparte as " the most beautiful sitting-room in the world": Piazza San Marco, the political and legal heart of the city, the Basilica of San Marco, a harmonious blend of Byzantine, Roman, Gothic and Renaissance detail, the Clock Tower, one of the first mechanically geared clocks to display not only the time of day but also the Sun, Moon and Zodiacal cycle and the Bridge of Whispers - a covered walkway that joins Palazzo Ducale with the antique prisons.
Lunch.
Free time in the afternoon for shopping etc ..

Day 2 - 08/10/05 - The Islands of the Lagoon: Murano, Burano, Torcello

Activities
After breakfast departure in the tour boat to visit the surreal islands of the lagoon.
Day spent coasting past the antique fisherman's island of Pellestrina, Venice Beach, the Cannes lagoon and the numerous other little islands that characterize the Venetian Lagoon and make it unlike any other place in the world.
Arrival at Murano, renowned worldwide for it's famous glassworks. Here the secrets of this art form have been kept and handed down from Father to Son over the generations. A trip to one of the glassworks still in use today is included in the tour program.
The tour then continues to the island of Burano, famous for lacework. The island has a multicolor aspect to it of brightly painted houses whose purpose was once to act as lighthouses for ships that had lost their way in the fog.
From here the tour continues to Torcello, the most mysterious of the islands, today inhabited by very few people, founded in the Fifth century and named Venetia by Plinio even before this region took the name.
Return to the hotel in Mestre in the evening, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 - 09/10/05 - Padova
Breakfast at the hotel in Venezia Mestre;
Departure for Padova for a guided tour of the city:
Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Abano Terme.
Activities
In the morning departure for Padova.
Meeting with the guide, tour of the city and the majestic Basilica of Sant'Antonio, regularly frequented by the religiously devoted from all over the world who come to pray on the tomb of this Saint which is normally surrounded by believers.
Lunch.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Abano Terme.

Day 4 - 10/10/05 - Vicenza and Verona
Breakfast at the hotel in Abano Terme;
Tour of Vicenza;
Tour of Verona;
Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Vicenza.
Activities
Departure for Vicenza. Morning tour of the city, taking in the picturesque church SS. Felice and Fortunato, the Piazza dei Signori, la Basilica and the famous Palladio house.
Then on to visit the long "portico" that leads to the Basilica of Monte Berico.
Lunch.
Afternoon tour of the city of Verona, From the city centre, Piazza Bra, on to the Arena and Piazza delle Erbe e dei Signori, then a trip to Castel Vecchio and the Scaligero bridge.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Vicenza.

Day 5 - 11/10/05 - Sirmione
Breakfast at the hotel in Vicenza;
Departure for Sirmione;
Guided tour of the Caves of Catullo / Castle Scaligero
Evening departure for the group from Milan
Activities
Breakfast and departure for Sirmione.
Trip to see the overshadowing Scaligera fortress, located in a splendid position on the peninsula that divides the southern part of the lake into two gulfs , surrounded by waters with beneficial properties; in fact at a depth of 18 meters is situated the thermal spring of Boiola, whose waters are used to fill the thermal baths located nearby.
Evening departure for the group from Milan
