Gianluca Felicetti
Gianluca Felicetti, has for over 26 years backed animalist initiatives through the LAV,
an association for which he works and for which he is in charge of institutional relations.
He is also coordinator of the Animal Parliament Intergroup which counts 62 members and senators from all groups sensible to animalist topics and which represents numerous legal and legislative initiatives.
In Italy the group was responsible for coordinating various European campaigns such as the ban on breeding calves in boxes and the campaign to abolish cosmetic testing on animals.
In June 2003, the group received the "Michael Kay Award" from the "Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals", Great Britain, as acknowledgement for it's activities for the well being of animals in Europe.
He is also a member of the Executive Committee of "Eurogroup for Animal Welfare" based in Brussels.
Freelance journalist since 1997 he has his own column in the weekly paper for consumers

In 2004 he was animal rights lecturer for the first Master in "Applied Ethics and Animal Wellbeing" run by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bologna and Padova and was editor for the book "Animals, not Beasts" for Edizioni Ambiente.
