Propagating Vegetarianism since 30 years.
For about 10 years he served on the Management Council of the Vegetarian Society - Reverence for Life, Bombay.
Since 1992 has served as the Director of the Bombay Centre of Beauty Without Cruelty, An International Educational Charitable Trust for Animal Rights.
Joint Hon. Secretary of The International Vegetarian Union and later as the Hon. Secretary.
Currently Director of PETA India. (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals)
Since 1999 he is a member of The Rotary Club of Bombay where the responsibility taken up of Dog Sterilisation and Rabies Protection as a Chairman of the Community Safety Committee.
