Marinella Correggia
Marinella Correggia has chosen to address social and environmental issues for a number of years now, issues including animalist and vegetarian campaigns, providing assistance to political prisoners facing death sentences, fighting for equality in trading between countries and against war.
Her work has taken her to many different countries including Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Serbia, Bosnia, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Burundi.
She collaborates with a number of different newspapers including Il Manifesto.
She has written a number of books: A practical guide to daily ecology (Mondadori 2000); Goodbye to meat (LAV 2001); Vegetarian cuisine from the Southern hemisphere (Sonda 2002); A bomb is stopped in flight (Terre di mezzo 2003); Become like balsam (Sonda 2004).
