He was among the speakers at the international congress on vegetarian nutrition at Loma Linda.
He is currently carrying out a study, in collaboration with the Superior Institute of Health and the Department of Medical Physiopathology at the University "La Sapienza" in Rome, on the effects of the vegetarian diet with relation to metabolism and degenerative diseases.
He is in charge of the A.V.I's medical scientific committee and is a political activist for the Animal Freedom Movement.
